Who we are

Banhine National Park is known not only for it’s healthy ostrich population but is also known as the mini-okavango due to its wetlands systems which flood seasonally attracting a wide variety of migratory birds that flock there in en masse.

Banhine National Park is 725,043 hectares in size and is located in the district of Chigubo, in the province of Gaza. The Park sits in the heart of the Great Limpopo Transfrontier Conservation (GLTFCA) providing vital ecological and touristic links between Limpopo and Zinave National Parks in Mozambique and Gonarezhou National Park in Zimbabwe.
